Although we have always had a very quality education at our university, we have been able to enhance this quality with XR education. XR educations help us teleport our learners to a virtual world where they have the power to investigate. Instead of explaining how things used to be in the past in a history lecture, they can learn on their own and find out some facts without the lecturer talking too much.
It creates a safe environment
Safety is one of the major concerns of our university. Therefore, we can do anything to ensure that all our students are safe. However, they have to come across different chemicals and in the lab that may be very dangerous for them. With an education in XR, these students can learn the same subjects without going to the labs. This is with the help of VR that helps us bring the virtual image of the objects they have to deal with in a lab. This has enabled us to ensure that our learners are in a safe environment.
It makes the impossible possible
At times when you are explaining some facts to the learners, it becomes tough for them to understand, especially if they are not seeing what you are talking about. XR has enabled us to do things that are impossible to be possible. When teaching learners about animals like sharks, planets, or even industrial plants, we usually have a remarkably easier time since we use XR in education and bring them 3D models and animations using VR devices. Therefore, they get to see everything the lecturer is talking about very quickly. Getting in an industrial plant or near a shark for studies is impossible, but with the XR, we can ensure that our learners get to them virtually.
